Acorn Class is a mixed Reception and Year 1 class where children begin their school journey in a nurturing, supportive and engaging environment.

The class is taught by Miss Porter and supported by Mrs Merrington and Mrs Glanfield.

Through a carefully balanced mix of adult-led teaching and child-initiated learning opportunities, we encourage children to become confident, curious and enthusiastic learners.

Alongside developing key knowledge and skills, we place a strong emphasis on building character, helping children to grow in compassion, resilience and independence as they learn, play and develop positive relationships with others. We are proud to provide a happy, inclusive classroom where every child feels valued and inspired to achieve their best.​
