Welcome to Oak Class

Class Teacher: Mrs Dean

Oak Class is for Year 6 children, who are taught by Mrs Dean.  Children in Oak Class are encouraged

to be energetic, articulate and thoughtful young people, who enjoy learning in a variety of ways. They

benefit from a small class size with personalised support and challenge provided across a broad and

rich curriculum. Every day we strive to be guided by our character values

​

Year 6 is an important year in which we support the children to become independent and reflective

learners in preparation for life at secondary school – and beyond!  As well as enjoying a broad and

balanced curriculum, the children work incredibly hard and take on many extra responsibilities. This

means that our Year 6 children are fantastic role models for our younger pupils and also make a valuable contribution to the wider school community.
