Welcome to Oak Class, where our Year 6 children are supported to become confident, articulate and independent learners, ready for secondary school and beyond. Led by Mrs Smith, with support from Mrs Lewis and Mrs Glanfield, Oak Class provides a nurturing environment where every child is known, challenged and encouraged to achieve their very best.

Through our ACE Curriculum, children engage in ambitious, knowledge-rich learning that develops curiosity, creativity and critical thinking. We encourage pupils to take ownership of their learning, make meaningful connections across the curriculum and apply their knowledge in purposeful ways. Alongside academic achievement, our children grow as responsible, reflective young people, guided by our school values and proud of the positive contribution they make to our school community.
As the oldest pupils in the school, Year 6 children embrace leadership opportunities, act as role models for younger pupils and develop the resilience, independence and character needed for the next stage of their education.
