Class Teacher: Mrs While
Oak Class is for Year 6 children, who are taught by Mrs While, supported by Mrs Jago and Mrs Reid, Teaching Assistants. Children in Oak Class are encouraged to be energetic, articulate and thoughtful young people, who enjoy learning in a variety of ways. They benefit from a small class size with personalised support and challenge provided across a broad and rich curriculum. Every day we strive to be guided by our character values
Year 6 is an important year in which we support the children to become independent and reflective learners in preparation for life at secondary school – and beyond! As well as enjoying a broad and balanced curriculum, the children work incredibly hard and take on many extra responsibilities. This means that our Year 6 children are fantastic role models for our younger pupils and also make a valuable contribution to the wider school community.
