Our Local Advocate Board

In our school, the Local Advocate Board meets 4 times during the academic year, between these meetings individual advocates are responsible as Lead Governors for a portfolio, and have delegated responsibility for defined areas of work. You can find out which areas our Advocates are responsible for in our Register of Business Interests below. We are abiding by our duty to publish relevant business and pecuniary interests and attendance at meetings of all Advocates. We also sign up to a Code of Conduct.

The terms of reference for each Portfolio Holder can be found below. They explain what delegated authority the Advocate has been given. Any work undertaken by Lead Advocates is reported to the Board at their next meeting.
